Formerly known as A-1 Fire Equipment of Davenport, IA, Clinton Fire Equipment of Fulton, IL, Freeport Fire Equipment of Freeport, IL, Midwest First Aid and Blast Off Pressure Washing are all getting a new name and look for their business locations: Company One. Owner Ted James is streamlining his three office locations and other divisions under the new name to provide better recognition of the firm’s fire suppression expertise and its first aid and power washing divisions.

“We install and sell fire alarms, fire suppression, engineered systems, sprinklers, fire extinguishers, first aid, and safety equipment. We also power wash restaurant hoods, buildings and more,” James said. “With so many services, products, and locations, we wanted to make it clear that you can call Company One to fulfill all of those needs.”

James noted that Company One would continue to provide services to offices, manufacturers, and restaurants in a 300-mile radius of the Quad Cities, Clinton, and Freeport. The company’s experienced staff of 25 employees will also remain the same, said James. “Company One will continue to provide the same quality service with integrity. We still have the same experienced, knowledgeable staff who will go the extra mile to help solve customer’s needs and identify plans for the safety of businesses in the region.”

Company One and its divisions provide restaurants, offices, and industrial plants with everything from simple safety glasses to FM200 fire suppression systems. According to James, Company One provides some of the most advanced fire suppression systems to protect computers, server rooms, vaults, and other high value specialty equipment from fire hazards.
